Mera Peak is the highest of the peaks in Nepal that are defined as ‘trekking peaks’. At 6476m it is a high mountain that requires little technical climbing on its normal route. Our guided trip is 16 days long starting from arrival in Kathmandu to the earliest date of departure home.

The tallest trekking peak of Nepal, Mera Peak, is a topmost destination for climbing starters around the world. Situated in the historic land of Mt Everest, Mera Peak has been providing grounds for mountaineers since its opening.

Mera Peak lies in the highest part of the Himalayas, Mahalangur section which is the north-most part of the Solukhumbu region of Nepal. The highest trekking peak of Nepal is pointed with three main tops, i.e. Mera Central(6,476m), Mera North(6,476m), and Mera South(6,065m).

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu Airport [1345m/4411ft]
Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Chhutang [2800m/9184ft] Duration: 3- 5 hours
Day 03: Trek from Chhuthang to Tuli Kharka [4100m/13448ft] Duration: 5-6 hours.
Day 04: Trek from Tuli Kharka to Kothe [4182m/13716ft] Duration: 6-7 hours.
Day 05: Trek from Kothe to Thangnak [4326m/14189ft] Duration: 4-5 hours
Day 06: Trek from Thangnak to Khare [5000m/16400ft] Duration: 3 hours
Day 07: Acclimatization day at Khare
Day 08: Trek to Mera Base Camp [5300m/17384ft] 5-6 hours
Day 09: Trek to Mera High Camp [5700m/18696ft] Duration: 2 hours
Day 10: Summit Mera Peak [6461m/21192ft] and descend to Khare Duration: 8-9 hours
Day 11: Reserve day in case of bad weather
Day 12: Trek back from Khare to Kothe Duration: 4-5 hours
Day 13: Trek from Kothe to Tuli Kharka Duration: 5-6 hours
Day 14: Trek from Tuli Kharka to Lukla via Zatrawala Pass Duration 6-7 hours
Day 15: Flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 16: Final Departure.
