Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative who will transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel or relaxing at your accommodation.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara After breakfast, you will take a scenic drive or a short flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city. In Pokhara, you can enjoy the serene atmosphere and take a stroll around Phewa Lake. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 3: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga In the morning, you will drive to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. From there, you will trek through picturesque villages, terraced fields, and forests, following the Modi Khola (river) until you reach Tikhedhunga. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.

Day 4: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani The day starts with a steep ascent of around 3,000 stone steps called Ulleri. Afterward, the trail continues through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests until you reach Ghorepani, a charming village with panoramic views of the mountains. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 5: Ghorepani to Poon Hill and Tadapani Early in the morning, you will hike up to Poon Hill (3,210 meters) to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. After enjoying the view, you will return to Ghorepani for breakfast and then continue the trek to Tadapani, passing through dense forests and enjoying more mountain vistas. Overnight in Tadapani.

Day 6: Tadapani to Dobato From Tadapani, the trail descends through rhododendron forests and crosses several streams. You will continue trekking through the beautiful Gurung village of Chhomrong before reaching Dobato, where you will be rewarded with stunning views of Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Overnight in Dobato.

Day 7: Dobato to Upper Chistibung Today’s trek is relatively short but offers fantastic views of Dhaulagiri and other snow-capped peaks. The trail takes you through alpine meadows, rhododendron forests, and grazing pastures as you make your way to Upper Chistibung. Overnight in Upper Chistibung.

Day 8: Upper Chistibung to Khopra Danda You will continue your ascent through the Kharka (grazing land) to reach Khopra Danda. As you climb higher, the landscape becomes more rugged, and you will be surrounded by stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Overnight at Khopra Danda.

Day 9: Explore Khopra Ridge and Return to Swanta On this day, you can wake up early to witness a magnificent sunrise over the mountains from Khopra Ridge. After enjoying the breathtaking views, you will retrace your steps back to Swanta village, passing through beautiful forests and terraced fields. Overnight in Swanta.

Day 10: Swanta to Ghorepani The trail from Swanta to Ghorepani involves a gradual ascent through villages, forests, and farmlands. You will pass through the village of Chitre and continue until you reach Ghorepani. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 11: Ghorepani to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara On the last day of the trek, you will descend from Ghorepani to Nayapul, passing through Tikhedhunga and Birethanti. From Nayapul, you will drive back to Pokhara. In the evening, you can celebrate the successful completion of the trek in Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu After breakfast, you will either take a flight or drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city, shopping for souvenirs, or simply relaxing. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure It’s time to bid farewell to Nepal as your memorable Khopra Danda Trek comes to an end. You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight.
